He worked for more than thirty years as a journalist. During the 1990s he worked for the Phileleftheros media group, first as a journalist and then as a magazine editor. At the same time he was active in the field of advertising, mainly as a copywriter. In January 2000 he became head of the Press and Communication Office of the European Popular Bank in Athens. In 2002 he undertook the management of the weekly magazine Time Out Athens, while working at the same time as a copywriter for the subscription platform Nova. In 2005 he created the City Free Press, the first free newspaper in Cyprus, while in 2006 he undertook the management of the magazines of the Phileleftheros media group, where he also worked as Director of the digital editions of the group and for a number of years as a political columnist. Today he contributes as a columnist to Kathimerini newspaper. In 2020, after many years in the field of journalism and communications, he set up Whiteboard Consultants, where he works as CEO, with the aim of conveying his expertise to organizations, companies as well as individuals. Stavros Christodoulou’s first novel, Hotel National, was published by Kalendis Editions in 2016. His second book, The Day the River Froze (Kastaniotis Editions, 2018) was awarded the European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL) 2020, and the Cyprus National Award for Novels in 2018. In 2020 his third novel, Three Fields of History, was published by Kastaniotis Editions. He is a Certified Management Consultant. Since 2005 he has been working as a Quality and Business Consultant and Trainer for big companies and organisations. Since 2012 he has been active in Social Media, while at the same time he was a fervent copywriter and blogger, with frequent interventions and regular current affairs articles, accumulating significant experience in communication issues and specializing in new technologies and social media. Since 2013, he has been actively involved in political communication, both at the level of local government elections and at the level of the central political scene. In 2020, his love of communication, social media and writing prompted him to join the founding of Whiteboard Consultants, undertaking its management. This was a result of her collaboration with major brands in Cyprus and abroad and the management of their social media accounts.
